WHEN ARE YOU OPEN?
Special Interest Auto Body is open to serve you Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Saturday, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
WHERE DO I GET A CLAIM NUMBER?
Claim numbers are issued by your insurance company when you report your accident. Special Interest Auto Body is a preferred provider with State Farm Insurance and has experience and high quality working relationships with all the major auto insurance carriers
WHEN IS VEHICLE DAMAGE CONSIDERED A TOTAL LOSS?
A vehicle is considered a total loss if the price of the repair exceeds the insurance company's determined value of your vehicle.
CAN YOU MATCH MY PAINT COLOR?
Today, most finishes incorporate multiple layers of highly specialized paints. Special Interest Auto Body takes great pride in matching your paint and finish using experience, quality paint and paint equipment to get the job done right.
DO YOU OFFER A SHUTTLE SERVICE?
Yes, Special Interest Auto Body offers free friendly shuttle service to take you to your local destination.
CAN YOU PICK UP MY CAR?
Yes, Special Interest Auto Body provides free local pick-up and delivery of your vehicle.
WHAT IF I WILL NEED A RENTAL CAR?
If you need a rental car the welcome center will help you make the necessary arrangements. Please check with your insurance company to see if you have rental coverage. Special Interest Auto Body can provide on-site pick-up and drop-off of a rental vehicle.
CAN I GET OTHER WORK DONE ON MY VEHICLE WHILE IT IS AT YOUR SHOP?
Yes, please let your estimator or friendly customer service representative know what additional work you would like done. Auto detailing, and door ding removal are also available for your convenience.
HOW LONG WILL THE REPAIRS TAKE?
Your estimator will be able to give you more details on the completion of your vehicle. Special Interest Auto Body never cuts corners, ensuring your vehicle receives quality service and workmanship. Prompt and accurate ordering of parts, coupled with experience and detailed quality control inspections that keep mistakes from happening, allow for faster completion times than industry standards.
HOW WILL I KNOW WHEN MY VEHICLE IS COMPLETE?
After a detailed final inspection of your vehicle, one of Special Interest Auto Body's friendly customer service people will call you to let you know that your car is ready. At that time, free shuttle or delivery arrangements can be made for you if needed. Feel free to call during the repair process for an update on your vehicle.
DO YOU WARRANTY THE REPAIRS?
Yes, Special Interest Auto Body provides a full warranty on all workmanship, for as long as you own your vehicle.
DO I HAVE TO PAY A DEDUCTIBLE?
Whether or not you have to pay your deductible is determined by your insurance policy. If you aren't sure about your deductible, you can contact your insurance agent and they will tell you whether or not you are responsible for paying the deductible at the time of pick up.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
Special Interest Auto Body accepts Visa, Mastercard, Cash, Cashier Checks and Insurance Checks.
CAN I WASH AND WAX MY CAR AFTER REPAIR?
Yes, within the first 30 days wash your vehicle using cool water and a very mild car wash with a soft cloth. Be sure to wash your vehicle in the shade. Do not use commercial car wash or stiff brushes. Chipping the finish is easily done within the first 30 days. Do not wax or polish your vehicle within the first 90 days. The finish will need time to dry and harden completely.
