In 1978, Byron Parsons and Doug Tuengel opened the doors to Special Interest Auto Body. Their vision was to become the highest quality body shop in the Puget Sound area. Today, customer service and quality workmanship are still the main focus for new owners, Kerry Triboulet and Shayne Hedahl. Kerry, with nearly 40 years in the industry, joined the company in 1995 as general manager. Shayne, Doug Teungel's nephew, has worked at the shop in a number of capacities for 10 years. Kerry and Shayne were the natural choice to continue on with the family business when Doug Tuengel retired.
Shayne and Kerry enjoy the satisfaction that comes from making sure your vehicle is brought back to its pre-accident condition. When not at the shop you will find them spending time with their families, active in church and the community and supporting local organizations.
Special Interest Auto Body has talented employees working in four buildings totaling 18,000 square feet. The company is a member of the Automotive Service Association of Washington (ASA-WA), and the Assured Performance Network.
